Broadview And Maywood Get Nearly $400K In County Infrastructure Grants

The villages of Broadview and Maywood were both selected to receive grant money from Cook County to fund critical infrastructure projects.
The grants were awarded through the 2018 Invest In Cook program, which identifies projects within the county that align with the county’s Long Range Transportation Plan.
The county granted Maywood $200,000 to help pay for roadway improvements along 19th Avenue, from Madison Street to St. Charles Road. The grant funds will pay for phase 1 engineering services, which include utility reviews, lighting analysis and an environmental survey.  Click for rest of the story...
