All 6th and 9th grade students must have a physical exam and immunizations before school starts in August, 2019.  Loyola's Mobile Health Unit will be at D89 schools in in April and May.
Physical exams and immunizations are being offered by by the Loyola Pediatric Mobile Health Unit at some D89 elementary schools. Click on the flyer at right, in both English and Spanish, for more information.

Loyola Medicine Mobile Van will be at Stevenson and Irving Middle schools giving flu vaccinations. All students are eligible - Medicaid, private health insurance or no health insurance, but students must have a signed consent form to get the vaccination. Asthma Management Online Training
In collaboration with the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), Respiratory Health Association developed Asthma Management for School Staff,an online training that highlights appropriate emergency response procedures as well as Illinois polices that apply to asthma management in schools.

PP4H was at Washington Dual Language Academy on September 25, 2018 to help celebrate Hispanic Heritage and handing out health information in English and Spanish and answering any health related questions parents, teachers, and students might have.
